How good to see you back - stick around this time, eh?
How are you? What have you been up to - or down to?
Ben

Thanks for the welcome.
I guess I got bored - mainly the deliberate Daily Mail style dumbness around the Forum, and even if it was only a couple of people, it just seemed to end up dragging everything down to their level.
Webwise, I've mainly been spending time on special interest sites (caving, lighting, microcontrollers) and one or two skeptics sites.
Lifewise, not been doing too much of interest to folks here - a fair bit of caving, including some nice digging, and I did manage to use up another one of my nine lives this summer.
Problem is, I'm starting to lose count how many are left.
What's happened while I've been away?

Well, we've lost Natalie and gained Sam as an Italic. h2g2 went through a BBC review and, whilst Natalie said at the time "It went better than we could have hoped...", we still don't know what the outcome was.
Other than than, we've been pootling around as normal, really.

The outcomes are well known now, moves are a-foot, and it's good to see you back about the place (if sparsely)
The site isn't what it was a year ago, nor 3 or even 7 years ago. It evolves, some rise to the top of the leavening and others fall by the way-side. Another year or three, others rise and old crust falls away. The life of most sites (if they will survive)
I'll be around a LONG time, and glad to re-aquaint as times go on.
Nick, a few times 'Rev Nick' and once a 'Reverend Something or Other' (who once had friends that are now SOMEbodies! Whooo!)
Key: Complain about this post
