This remains for me one of life's great mysteries, along with-

Certain very aggressive flowers have been known to duel to the death, i.e. pistils at dawn.

As a huge fan of weak puns, I was vastly amused by the pistils at dawn
Byzantine has however at one fell swoop rendered my life devoid of meaning, by answering my great questions in life and also denied me the joy of writing a Melton Mowbray Pork Pie entry for the guide by providing a link to a fantastic pork pie feature.
