I know.
My department has been reorganised as of January 2023. We still haven't found any advantages of the new structure and basically go on as before until otherwise instructed. The main issue was that in the new organizational chart, there were four vacant management spots above me. (Originally three, but the guy at the top who masterminded the whole plan passed away unexpectedly).
My old group of nine was split over three different groups in two departments, but the work remained...
Well... As long as there are not enough people to do the work, I feel pretty confident my job is safe for the foreseeable future.
