The thing is, why didn't he foresee the disappearance of Nebraska? We won't find the answer to that question in the story.

Nostradamus made a spelling mistake. The name should have been with a lambda, not a Y. Or maybe that is why he's got the prediction wrong.
(Still a nice find though)
Anyway, my image of Nostradamus has been eternally biased since Dutch comedian Hans Teeuwen wrote a song about him. Bottom line is that although he is good at making predictions, he is an otherwise mysogenistic, obnoxious, lazy person who always wears tight green pants (warning, kind of explicit lyrics towards the end). I see he did the song in English too, in case you are curious but don't understand Dutch.
