I had to see it because it has some scenes in Boston. I was tromping around in Boston from early 1971 on, so I remember what it was like then. I've been rooting for Paul Giamatti for many years.
The 2023 movie that moved me the most was "All of us are strangers." There are things you never tell your parents no matter how old they get, but it must have been heartbreaking to lose one's parents at the age of twelve. 
Loneliness is deadly, as the main character discovers at the end of the film, and yet the ending is beautiful.
