I knew there was something fishy about that stairway to heaven story. Good thing you put that into context for us. Now I just have to get those electric guitars back out of my head.
A first I thought we were going on a dungeons and dragons campaign, when they were sorting out the watch rota for the night. The bandits/goblins/mermaids usually choose to attack just after the low level wizard on guard duty fails a constitution check and falls asleep.
