I have had very bad luck getting cameras that will download into my computer

I've never been able to use Apple products. My brother has given me cameras that were supposed to be compatible with my Lenovo computer, and in every case the cameras were designed to connect with programs that Windows no longer offers, such as Internet Explorer. I have tried taking pictures with those single-use cameras that someone is supposed to develop for me, but when I bring them to CVS, I am later told that they can't develop them for me, and they have lost the camera I gave them.
There are a few camera shops in my area, and I can hope that they have something I could use.
This is why it is so hard for me to send pictures for the Post. I keep trying. It's like the song from "Threepenny Opera":

Photo's from almost all most all digital cameras including phones can be downloaded onto any computer, using publicly available programmes (quite often directly by Windows)
If you still have the camera, add the details to the thread and I will see if I can point you to a programme.

I just plug the mobiles directly into my computer using the USB cable. My digital camera, which isn't an expensive model, has a computer chip you can stick in the computer to transfer photos. In either case, I just use the file folder manager to copy the files.
