Rubidgea looks like something a CGI department would invent for an action movie. Definitely count me out of any time machine trips to that place and time. Unless there are likely to be cute frogs.

I think Rubidgea actually didn't inhabit dark forests! The time and place was one of rather dry, open habitats, with trees mostly restricted to river courses. Don't know about cute frogs (they only came on the scene in the Jurassic if I'm not mistaken) but there were lots of cute, small to large (and the large ones were cute also) pre-frog amphibians.

I never met an amphibian I didn't like. Even toads. They are endlessly fascinating. They all seem to be Zen or mages.
