There's a 'the the', is ' steadfastedly' I think should be 'steadfastly' ('stedfastly' is an acceptable but old-fashioned spelling) and an 'anounced'

I've corrected the mistakes.

This captures the church beautifully.

Three things that I thought maybe worth noting is that the church is walkable from the town centre (as you did and, as it happened, so did I), the church is very small compared to the other famous churches/mosques, there are at least 45 different mosaics (according to wikipeadia but I thought there were a few over 60).

Anyway, even without further changes, this would be an excellent addition to the guide.

I now describe the church as tiny, mention that it is about 5km from the centre of the city, and that you can walk to it.

I don't think I'll state a number of mosaics. It's enough to know that there are lots of them.
