He will be but as he is now the youngest of four GGchildren the spoiling gets less in monetary value for all of them, but they all get the same amount of love!!

please don't take offence, I've only 1 grand kid (male) and 1 son/1 daughter - and he's hers

Once, twenty years ago I had two sons but my beautiful eldest boy was killed .
My younger son (who told me he hated being an only child after his brother went) is 50 now. he has four children. The eldest girl has a four year old daughter a two year old son and a six month old son, her young sister just had the newbie!
My two teen age grandsons are busy playing the field and I am assured they keep themselves 'tidy'. So hopefully no more babies for a year or three!
I love talking about my family Prof and enjoy hearing about other people.

my son will be 29 in a few days, he does wheelchair rugby and passed his driving test just before last xmas.
My daughter (28 next mth) was "born" a sort of hip problem and it seems to have been passed on to my grandson (possibly hereditary on her "mothers" side)
I've been a single parent for 23 yrs this Oct comingthey were 6 and 5when I took charge

I have just read your page and and it made me realise I am not the hero I believed myself to be. I suppose we cope as best we can with whatever life throws at us, however I am not sure I have the strength that you have Prof. My problems as a child were emotional not physical and I was a mess until I met my wife when I was 21. We married just four months after meeting 59 years ago and she sorted my head out with her no nonsense approach to life. I wonder if you would like to correspond by e mail which is less public?

It was so good to read that your son has passed his driving test after all his tribulations. What a tough crowd you Northern people are,(much like we Cornish).

Thanks prof for your concern, multiple reasons, health, my wife not mine, in and out of hospitals and surgeries, new baby in the family, PC problems, resolved now, and sheer tiredness after busy days driving around Cornwall including crawling out of bed to take mt grandson to work at 6 in the morning. All things are much improved
