I have achieved all I needed to achieve with the Beeb

What!
You needed to achieve a state of ignorance and making yourself look very, very foolish?
Well done on that one.
Whatever next?

"James the true prophet signing off"
More like "James the fraud and liar running away".
Come on, man up and join NGL.

James,
Lets summaries
1. You have not provided evidence that the number of sun spots correlates to the alignment of the planets
2. You have not provided evidence that the number of sun spots correlates to the global temperatures
3. You have not provided evidence that the graphs I produced (that are still available) are incorrect
The only evidence you have produced is that
1. You think a bird table is the same as a compost heap
2. That there is a inverse correction between the number of post James produces and his IQ.
Guess that is why you are heading for the hills.

=====
why does it keep getting cold when there are no sun spots?
======
For instance?
By the way, any explanation as to why there are so few sunspots after your much hyped recent planetary alignment.
So few in fact, as to be less that when there was no alignment at all?

Eddie Posted Jul 7, 2011
James,
Make up your mind with respect to sun spots.
Can remember that a few months ago you said that the number of sun spots was rather high and we was having a very cold (colder than average for that time of year).
BTW - Get yourself an education and find out the what the words weather, climate, global, table, heap mean.

James42 Posted Jul 8, 2011
According to this weeks New Scientist, global temperatures have not moved up for ten years.
Your sunspots are coming round again which will mean warm for the South of England for this time of year.
For those that missed what the difference was for this alignment than some others, this last alignment was on the opposite side of the sun to earth.
Pleas do not forget we are talking about temperatures over my compost heap for this time of year not any other persons, as we must feel sorry for those with their compost heaps near the Equator.

"If globalwarming is real why does it keep getting cold when there are no sun spots?"
As already pointed out, many times, with evidence, it doesn't.

"According to this weeks New Scientist, global temperatures have not moved up for ten years."
I have not seen this statement anywhere on the New Scientist website.
Provide a link.

Or you could just admit that you're wrong. Again.
(Have you joined another board yet? http://nglreturns.myfreeforum.org/index.php should be fun.)

Since James happily revels in the sin of sloth (tut tut James 'God' is upset at you)
http://www.newscientist.com/blogs/shortsharpscience/2011/07/why-global-temperatures-held-s.html
From the article...
"But according to the new analysis, various short-term factors can account for the slowdown. Most of those variables are going to change direction soon. So the halt in warming may be only temporary."
If you read the article properly you might understand what was said.
