So, James, explain it to us poor souls without access to secret* prophecies:

> How do planetary alignments cause sunspots?

> Why do some alignments cause sunspots and others do not?

> How do sunspots affect the Earth's weather or climate?

> Why do these effects only occur in geographically-limited regions?

*You never did say what you expected to happen, so we can't prove you "wrong", but you also cannot prove yourself "correct" either.

A drought in America James , really?

Is Illinois in America James?

'Record-Setting April Rainfall in Illinois

April 28, 2011 by Jim Angel
Record-Setting Rainfall

Based on preliminary data, the statewide average rainfall for April (as of May 2) is 7.59 inches, beating the old record of 7.13 inches set in 1957. Statewide records go back to 1895.'

Don't you find it strange James that a world wide drought (including America) causes record setting rainfall, in America?

Is that your definition of a drought James - ie record setting rainfall?

England is a tiny fraction of the planet.

How do sunspots cause a dry spring (*not* a drought) in England, but not in Scotland, who had one of their wettest springs in a long time?

I wish James could figure out what is a drought, what is weather, what is a climate.

And I would also like James to answer a few questions

i.e.

1. Why the diagrams that I generate does not correlate the sun spots to global temperature (see http://spottysun.atwebpages.com/)
2. Why the number of sun spots does not correlate to planets alignment (see Sebs posts)

He posed those ideas and yet is unable to follow them up.

Guess he does not have any answers.

Now he thinks that there is a drought across the global (which there is not) or in the UK (also not true). Yes - parts of the UK have been a lot drier than usual - but not a drought yet.

He seems to think that the whole planet (solar system/universe/...) rotates around his bird table in his back garden.

James - Why cannot you following these points up? Please try to prove us wrong? Easy for you to produce facts and figures on a little web site to show that WE (i.e. more than one) of us are incorrect).

Kiteman - In terms on land mass if is about 0.17% of the planet. It is even more pathetic if you count the oceans.

..except that they didn't pinch this lot of rainfall????

in New Zealand
April
'In April 2011, New Zealand was affected by more southeast winds than usual. These produced extremely high rainfalls in the east of the North Island, as well as on the Kaikoura coast '

....so no drought there then?
So therefore no worldwide drought then?

Number of baked beans you can fit into a bath?

The number of toilet rolls used by one person in a year?

The biggest radish in the world?

Please tell us James

James, Why have you started another thread with a vague attempt at prophecy, when you never even gave us the details of this one? http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbreligion/brunel/NF2213235?thread=8234447

James,

Why do you think that the alignment of planets would affect the number of sun spots?

- Why cannot you answer a few questions with that superior intellect?

Some are so afraid of the truth, that they will do and say anything to close the minds of the masses just incase they are able to see for themselves what is real, and what is not, without any help from pseudo, U no, drop outs.

It will get warm again round my bird table, but it will take a week or so.

It is plain to see for all that you are unable to back up your claims that:

1. Sun spots are related to global temperature
2. Sun spots are related to the alignment of planets.

So I guess that it is YOU that is blind to the truth.
