I haven't actually played a RPG for years. The last I did was a couple of goes at Timelord, which is an excellent 'Doctor Who' game. And before that I used to do a bit of 'Champions' (comic-book superheros) on and off. Needless to say I started with D&D back when it was three A5 books in a box.
However I do a fair amount of fantasy miniature wargaming using 'Hordes of the Things'. And historical miniatures gaming using all sorts of rules. And boardgames too.
