Mais c'est manifique!
But you have forgotten the Christmas episode confirming the underlying blackness of a Blackadder soul. The truth should be told.
But seriously, it is very good.

Something about the general theme of the series - an insight into the Blackadder character would be helpful, as that is THE linking element between the four series. Not too philosophical though, as that would detract from the impact.
A thought.

I seem to remember they also produced a short Blackadder sketch, set in the English Civil War, for Comic Relief in about 1986. Did Steven Fry play King Charles I ?

Yes, something was done for Comic Relief there have also been several bits and pieces done for other special events such as Prince Charles' Birthday.
Sadly the only scripts that have been published were the fore series so unless someone has copies of the extra bits I have little to work with. I think I must have missed the christmas episode.
If any one has the scrips I am more that happy to add bits to the page.

I've got the Christmas episode on video, if that's any help. See my page for email address.
