h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Erm, a year.

A year has passed since I last posted here. It's also been coming up for a year since I found myself spending more time than I might prefer on this lump of rock in the channel called Jersey. It's also been a year since I had my primary colours 'issue'.

So, the good news is that I've written a 'non primary' bit of, erm, well, let's continue to call it poetry. That was last summer though, and I was never quite happy enough with it to post it here. I will get round to that shortly.
The other good news is that as I came out of the trendy sandwich shop at lunchtime today, I looked up the street at the trendy lawyers and investment bankers and the like, and for the first time in a year I just switched into Optic Nerve mode, and there it was...

black trousers
white shirts
white blouses
grey skirts

Optic Nerve

Sometimes there's something to be said for not rushing something out. I've changed my mind. It should go like this:

black white
trousers shirts
white grey
blouses skirts

hah .. there you are, person of a year gone by .. the inimitable poetic vision returns in splendour ..

time on Jersey must be good for the Optic Nerves ..
