I'm popping in as one of the assistant community editors or <./>ACEs</.> here. We greet newbies like yourself & leave you useful linkss that'll help you settle in a bit easier. First of all it might be a good idea to read the 'Welcome page'@ A53146 - if you haven't already. Then it's possible to really brighten up or personalize your page. Look@'spicing up your page'( A690518 ) for explanations of what can be done...& how to do it. If you need any clarification though, there's also the Personal Space Workshop@ A1123354 .
Something reasonably new is the Games Room@ A4167605 , which you'll notice gives you a few more options than just the actual Games Room. And my colleague Feisor has compiled a comprehensive list of Hints & Links@ A719840 . Take your time going over those & having a good look around - there's alot to see! I think you'll find this a fun, friendly & informative community to be apart of. Be seeing you around so to speak...& keeping!*waves*

The internet came annoying itself when it got so commercialized. It was fun surfing it in 1997, when my friend was the first in town who got it. Then it became boring. I found your adress in Salmon of a doubt and typed it rigt into the PC.
I love your forums too. Everyone seems so friendly and nobody trys to show out.
Well, I'm doing OK. Climbed my first big serious wall in a big mountain on sunday and I'm still so euphoric as I was on the top. Just the weather is a little bit too wet today...
Bye

Yeah the BBC has really got something here, don't they? Well there's gradually been more commercialism creeping in everywhere. And of course the internet is the worlds biggest billboard, so to speak, so you Know that'd be taken full advantage of.
Glad you're doing well. Rock-climbing huh? Good for you, that Would be a real sense of accomplishment! I'm thinking some Major euphoria!

And the best food you can eat on the top are home made dark chocolate cookies with nuts. Mmmmmm....
And if there is an eagle flying by and ther is a beautiful sunset you can really just let go and relax...knowing that nature had won another time.
...and I never have my camera with me to catch those moments...
Hey...where are you from...and what else beside that in your PS you like doing?

What can I say,is Rightfor so many occasions! I'm from Edmonton, Alberta in Canada http://www1.travelalberta.com/content/citiestowns (& click on "photos & videos"@the bottom of the page) I try & get out to commune with nature now'n'then...don't seem to be doing as much as I used to though. Fortunately I'm in a less congested area of the city & right near the river valley http://www.westerntour.com/Edmonton which is great. Of course it's always good to really get away from "the rat race" & do some hiking or camping in an area like Kananaskis http://www.kananaskisvalley.com right on the edge of the Rocky Mountains.

Alberta...the land of the dinosaurs.
Last year my friend found a piece of a dinosaur bone. It was from the biggest dinosaur found in Slovenia (that's where I'm from)...at least that's what we are dreaming of...
I like the Kananakis valley, and the Canada itself. Everything is so big there. If I would live somvhere in the Rockies, I would probably quit my job an go live somwhere in nature. I was thinking of doing something like that here, but Slovenia is so small that you can't even think of hiding from the tourists. And if you go hiking you must really choose the right zig-zag way across the hills to stay in the wildeness. All the cities and villages and tourists are allways so close to you...
Here are some pages from Slovenia (I found out that I don't know how to put those links here as hyperlinks...hope you-

Ah ok, Slovenia...yes we're not only a bigger country but much younger. So while development is spreading further into what may only a few months ago have been the edges of wilderness, there are still large empty or undeveloped areas. Thank you for the links!
