Pools, ponds, and rivuletts - Fogs, mists, and tidal waves -
Dust is dust, now, and fish are fools, and the darkness of the stars and moon sets.
Light
From where? The sun has gone out, if indeed it ever existed at all.
There is flame, many colored, dancing.
Opposites attract.
Behind it all, there is waiting. For what? Neither knows, but for now, neither thinks, they just dance. Filling and failing and fulfilling each other, the water and the flame have no notion of anything else. And the flame asks for nothing, and the water asks for nothing in return, but they give everything, just enough, so that neither is destroyed - a teetery, dangerous dance.
But after a time, every once in a great while, they remember who they are and who they were, and a piece of them stops dancing, sits in the quiet and remembers, then is swept again into the dance, and nothing else matters. The water forgets the past and what it was, and forgets that it ever remembered.
And keeps dancing.

and now, of course, it is my turn to not understand you today.

Translated: Chad makes me happy, but everyonce in a while (ex: PMS), I get sad or esp. lonely and I brood on things long past and, as I thought, long forgotten. Then I am all malencholy, but it passes quickly and I forget that it ever happened.

Untill you read what you wrote down and say,
"Hey! What the hell is this?"
and then you think about it for a while, and you say,
"I have no Idea where this came from! Did I write this?"
and then you think about it some more, and you say,
"What the Hell! I think I wrote this! Why did I write this?"
and then you look at the random person who happens to sitting near you, and realize they've been staring at you wih a slightly conserned look. then you say,
"ummm.... sorry. I was just... ummm, reading this... uh, thing."
and then you look back down and read it again.
Then it all comes back to you, and you remember everything, and you think quietly,
'Wow, I should put this on h2g2 before I forget agian.'
and then you forget what you were thinking about and you wonder why the person near you is staring at you, and you say,
"Ahh! What's your problem?!'
and you think,
'man why are some people soo weird?'

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
