Long time no

I have a question for you, what is the protocol about putting my email address on my Personal Space page (set up a while back thanks to you help and pointing)? Is it something that's frowned upon?

Am I likely to get all manner of things bombarding my inbox?

I ask, because I'm not sure of the etiquette in this place. The only posting I have done before is on the internal server of my company where email links were acceptable and (thanks to the company)traceable!

Can you help out a stranger in these parts with some advice?

Oh it's acceptable & all, just be prepared for the possibility of a bit more e-mail. I hadn't posted my e-mail addy, but when I had the ICQ Instant Messaging service I had posted my number & never actually heard from anyone as a direct result. In fact I discontinued the service because I simply wasn't using it.
