Two weeks ago you left me a message on my personal space, I did answer, but *we* think you should have a copy on your forul list for your records.

BTW A "404" error message is when a page can't be found. So p~404 would be where something may not be found.

I was mentioned in email to Footbacon that somebody would use the first choice nickname in a way to inference some wrong doing; congratulations on being the first, and only person to do this.

That's quite a PS you have there. Although I see you've decided against publishing the contents of your email reply to Footbacon, probably a wise decision in the long run.

I do, however believe that somewhere along the line there has been a misunderstanding of sorts. Why is that do you suppose?

The reason I ask is, because I really can't imagine there being anybody less confrontational, difficult, or unamiable than Footbacon, or Trin for that matter. (Me, I'm much more grumpy and unreasonable than those two. ) Which makes it difficult for me to understand where you're coming from.

The way I see it, is that after you suddenly turning up unannounced on FB's PS, with, albeit, a truly wonderous gift of Bus Pirates, alongside a rather dubious choice of 'nickname' and giving yourself an ACE's welcome, then put links to conversations that the three of us were having on your PS, Footie just went about trying to ask who you were and from whence you came, as it's apparent that you aren't exactly new to Hootoo. I think I'd probably have done the same. It all smacks of being a bit, well, odd really.

There's certainly no need for any antagonism, as I said before, you're dealing with at least two of the most friendly folk on this site.

Yes, Footbacon did question the nickname it in her first email.

Then after I changed it and had all occurrences of it being posted by Footbacon / Trin Tragula removed an altered from what it was. She then when on to protest it was not a problem.

In short she questioned it, I thought of the wider viewer, what they may think and so changed it. It was not done for Footbacon, it was done for anybody and everybody.

Trin Tragula did nothing wrong that I can see, you did nothing wrong that I can see. Then I did nothing wrong but not stop quickly enough Footbacon in her thinking she was the focal point of me being online, not just somebody that in on-line post shows as a person of good humour (if not in email).

I have interacted with Footbaon in the past over before this.

I did explain fully to her in email why I don't want to say who I was, that my previous "character" was abused by too many people.

Plus people turn up on others personal spaces unannounced all the time, it is part of h2g2.

Sample case is I did not invite Trin to post at my personal space did I? Though I fully understand why they did, not that they needed to, since there never was any problem. Trin was having a joke about *sneaky* people. It was read in fun, and I don't see another way to read it.

Yes, I did remove myself from the "New User" list.

Yes, you still are shown as "new this week" in the "Who is on-line" list, which anybody is free to look at. So it's not as sneaky as those that come back in "old" accounts thought to be dormant.

Yes, I did not want to generate work for the ACE system, they have enough to do.

Totally agree with you. The antagonistic tone of a second email I was sent, enough for regret to be expressed by Footbacon in a third email, there was no need for it period. I wish to avoid such people.

Indeed you and Trin read as a couple of friendly folk.

I hope that answers your questions. As to the possibility of me posting email content. It would only be what I wrote, and since it breaks no law or on-line rule I have control over that, nobody else.

Purpose of leaving this space in it current condition is to show as a pointer that it's far too easy to be misread on-line.

I have no desire to enter into a long debate, I have given my reply only because you asked questions.

Is there some kind of point you're attempting to make? If so, it's completely lost on me.
Just to address the matter of your original choice of nickname, which was porn404...yes, I found it somewhat dubious. I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who wouldn't. You also posted a link to a rather inappropriate looking website on your PS initially.
So, again, your point is what, exactly?

I suspect your reason for posting all this again on my PS is probably because you didn't get the attention or response you were hoping for, to which I'll repeat the question I posed beforehand...why is that do you suppose?

I have absolutely no idea what you're hoping to achieve here, nor do I give a damn, quite frankly. Please don't bother me again.
