I am impressing people with this word smiley - winkeye

And we're all subbed, I did enjoy it and it made me giggle. I never thought I would live to see the day when I would find "gourmet" and "processed cheese" in the same sentence smiley - laughsmiley - roflsmiley - laugh

smiley - cheese
Confession time: I am the smiley - blacksheep of my family. Everyone else in my family loves cheese, even 3 of my children. I can't stand the stuff. But I do like *cooked* cheese which has the consistency of melted goo. Processed cheese is perfect for the job. So, cheese on a pizza and baked potatoes, but never in a sandwich or a salad. I baked last week - a Yorkshire tea loaf (I love making this as the recipe uses "cups" and there's no need to get the mixer out either) and my sister took two generous slices home with her for her & hubby's supper. She texted the next day that she enjoyed hers with a large slice of cheese on top (smiley - yuksmiley - yuksmiley - yuk)smiley - run

smiley - ok Looks good!

smiley - rofl I can imagine you don't want to mention a liking for processed cheese to a cheese snob... smiley - winkeye But that's exactly why people do it here. It helps a lot if you're lactose intolerant, it's easy to digest, and the consistency is great for melting. And it's gluten free, what's not to like? I actually love certain cheeses, but we always keep the processed stuff around for cooking.

I noticed you got in the link to 'Keeping Up Appearances' - thanks! I was looking for that especially. smiley - smiley
