What a story, a man before his time. I am reminded of Giordano Bruno and his 'heretical' beliefs.

Please read through and let me know if I can send it back to the Eds for final proof read. I'll get this on the FP asap.smiley - cheers

Yep, it reminded me of that, too - everybody who's had an uphill battle to convince people that they don't know what they think they know. smiley - headhurts

smiley - rocket on its way!

Speaking of which, did you enjoy the SpaceX/Dragon launch/docking/entry into the ISS? We were hooked, all weekend. smiley - wow

Poor Doug though, banged his head, started bleeding all over the space station, I'm guessing that's a bad thing in zero g. smiley - injured

smiley - yikes I didn't hear that part!

Yeah, we watched the launch and the docking. smiley - smiley I made screenshots for Gheorgheniplexes. smiley - winkeye

I cannot get over how they can land those boosters and reuse them. I am in awe of this, because that's how rockets landed in old science fiction films when I was a small child. smiley - rofl There's something so viscerally retro about it all. smiley - rocket

Oh! We were watching on NASA TV - we saw the Dragon crew enter the ISS (that was when Doug banged his head). Our news channels have been replaying the exact clip but not mentioning the injurysmiley - ermstrange. We were able to take screenshots on our phones, Andy got a great one of the ISS from the approaching Dragon - I missed that but I have all the photos if you want them?

smiley - earthsmiley - rocketYou know, we were just discussing that - the reusing of the boosters and how they land on the floating platform. Strange thing was, as we were waiting for it to land, the screen blanked out, just a few seconds, then when it came back, there was the booster! I said they probably showed a spare one because the other was off-course and landed in the drinksmiley - laugh

smiley - roflThat's exactly what we thought, the silver rocket landing feet first on some exotic planet with beautiful aliens from the old sci-fi films.smiley - tekcorsmiley - planetsmiley - aliensmile

smiley - rofl Exactly! Thanks, I have a lot of screenshots. smiley - smiley Although if you have one of the ISS, I'd appreciate it, because I missed that one, too - I went to push the button, and they changed the picture.
