h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It was a slow start to the year: 2 new subscribers, 902 total views for a total of 679 minutes (11.3 hours) of humanity's time wasted. Not bad: we can't always have a perfect storm of baby budgies and little cows.

I don't know what's got into Youtube. The top video in January was my rendition of 'Nearer, My God, to Thee' (from Titanic). At least they got to stare at the pond at Fly-Away Farm while I did it.

Next came 'That's Some Purr!', starring TJ the cat. He provided his own soundtrack. So my keyboard playing beat out a cat purring, but only by a narrow margin.

Third place goes to late-arrival 'Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Bluetit (Cameo)' by SashaQ. This footage is so spectacular that I expect its audience to continue to grow.

Assorted weirdness follows, including my experimental film, a cardinal flitting about in snow, and snow filling up bootprints in Scotland (thanks, Paige!). Lots to see here.
