Town was way too noisy early yesterday evening. The birds thought so, anyway. They were determined to drown everybody out. See if they succeeded. In the meantime, I kept trying to find them, but they hid in those walnut trees.

It got dark. Everybody went in (except me). The bugs came out to put on their floor show. Here are some highlights. They do pretty good for little guys with glowy tails.

'Bunch of birds' - love it! Yes, very well camouflaged indeed - it was the same here this evening, that I could hear quite a variety of birds, but couldn't see any!
The birdsong goes well with the music, but the sirens aren't the most relaxing sound 
Oh wow, the lightning bug light show is lovely! I went out last night to see the International Space Station fly over, and the bugs remind me of that, on a smaller scale
