More About h2g2's Insidious Influence

Heh heh congrats on getting cited Dmitri!
Anyways ... my dad read me poetry since I was born, pretty much. Good Afrikaans poetry. He was a librarian and there were always books around, including nice kids' books. My mom and dad read those to me also. When I was five I asked my father to write down the alphabet for me and to explain how to pronounce every letter. I then more or less taught myself to read, and could read quite well by the time I went to school. I've always read a massive amount, both fiction and non-fiction.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
