That is a very interesting way to put the reproductive process!
If you look at my piece: 'Journey's End?' you will see a very similar treatment of the process, but put into verse! Don't let the fact of it being 'poetry' put you off; it is quite short and only takes a minute or so to read.
It has been criticised for my treatment of the story giving the 'characters' a sentient and reasoning nature.

Thank you, K, for that review of my piece, and also for those nice compliments, but I don't know whether I can live up to them!
So, you see what I mean about our thought processes being along similar lines! The gamete (or should that be gameta, in the plural, like the Latin form? I am not sure, and my dictionary does not say.) in both are taken as possessing some sort of primitive 'will' or natural drive. Mine go a step further and give them thoughts and communicative ability as a 'device' to get my own philosopy over in written form. My idea has not gone down well with at least one reviewer. I'll leave you to decide why that should be so! I believe they think I am a bit of a 'smartypants'; too clever by half! But I am not really like that at all, and just a bloke of avaerage ability.
I don't post very much at all, preferring to wait until the mood and the idea comes to me. I like to read other's work and give my true opinion, free of any envy on my part if I think the work has merit, as yours certainly does.
