Now that I see you here and not in your diary, do you think you could direct me to the best place on hoo too that would educate me (as I do not have as much technical expertise as the rest of you) on how to put my music here. On the BBC.

I don't know of any way of putting music on the h2g2 web site or any other BBC site. You could try asking a question at Feedback (just click on Feedback in the left margin).

By the way, I don't know who you think Shams really is, but I don't think Shams is anybody except himself.

He is probably dead and someone else by now if he's the one I met some time ago

hi, gnomon. do you think shams could be a sham. that is some kind of elaborate wind up by some students or perhaps someone who is not dealing with a full deck. it is impossible to get shams to answer the simplest question. for example: what does the "a.r." stand for?

Shams's aim on h2g2 seems to be to promote his life philosophy of "Creative Living Spirit". But he's not very good at it because he asks his questions in all the wrong places.

are you aware that he "carpet bombs" all the boards with every new missive?

Yes. And he contributes to various other sites on the Internet, never realising that the more messages he posts the less effect his ideas have.

I think his aim is to spread peace and joy throughout the world.
