Well, I don't want to start off on religion first thing, but are you Macintosh or PC?
If you're familiar with PCs, think back to DOS....It's just a way of saying that I'm not ready to say anything yet

Wasn't abort/retry/fail a CP/M message - DOS was/is Abort/Retry/Ignore?

No, DOS still says abort/retry/fail. Well, I dunno about CPM, but fail was definitely the choice in DOS last week when I saw it.
