Keri's post in The Bull is being resisted by all, good!!
Let's hope it is still sitting at zero replies tomorrow
However, still no guarantee of love and peace in the future as they'll always be one to spoil the atmosphere so lets hope all Mustardland has learned the lesson and silence, spoons or somesuch topic is embarked upon without the need for even the word troll.
Sue
PS
Douglas says EXACTLY what bit of do not feed the troll is it that Mustaredllanders fail to grasp. Not difficult is it? really.

Hi
I've just spent the last several hours scrolling through Mustardland trying to find what I'd missed when the computer died last weekend. DNFTT is the only way to go, in my opinion. I've never knowingly fed one, and hope that everyone else can resist too.

Hi! I so hope this nasty business is resolved soon.
"without the need for even the word troll."
Have you seen that very interesting link in the Lckin? To save you trawling, here it is:
http://members.aol.com/intwg/trolls.htm
The only thing I would take issue with is where it suggests a way of dealing with trolls as follows:
"The only way to deal with trolls is to limit your reaction to reminding others not to respond to trolls.
When you try to reason with a troll, he wins. When you insult a troll, he wins. When you scream at a troll, he wins. The only thing that trolls can't handle is being ignored."
But posting warning messages such as DNFTT is acknowledging his existence, surely? Besides, then you get spats occurring because accusations of 'policing the boards' start to fly....

Tha'ts a difficult one Katy. It's a difficult balance between not responding, and reminding those that ARE responding that p'raps they shouldn't. Posting DNFTT is probably the best option in this difficult situation.
Key: Complain about this post
