Hey, talking about LTM. How about something saying that is it stored all over you brain. Not just in one area. If a person has there visual memory removed (or part of it where a memory was that they knew of) on then said something about that memory, a person will still have a "vision" of it.
Another thing to point out is that LTM isn't as acurate as STM. People forget faces over long periods of time but not in 20 seconds!
