i think an olive branch would be extremely useful... we have no piece of greenery - it could even double up as a make-shift tree... dire lack of vegetation...

Seasonal greenery, yes, but greenery nonetheless.

mikey... considering there are limits on smileys ... having three specifically christmas ones is a bit excessive...

They didn't all come at once -- we get a few new Christmas ones every Christmas as a present, along with some others. In general, the smileys we get have a lot to do with what the community has asked for. We may have several Christmas smileys, but have you ever looked at how many alcoholic ones there are? And sweets, there's another huge category. Neither are really smileys I would use much, but there's lots of people in the community who are very happy we have them. Myself, I'm just happy that they made the

Personally, I'd love to have a yak. But since the smiley list is closed, there's not a lot we can do about it at the moment. At some point, they *will* open the smiley list again, and at that point you can suggest the yak. You could even come and let me know and I'd pop over to the thread and second the notion.

a peacedove hardly qualifies as greenery... i called it olive branch since there are well known representations... could be a laurel branch...
