If your talking about allowing others to enter smilies then I agress completly. I've repeatedly put forward request for smilies, a lot of the time on behalf of several people (the whole H2G2 Astronimcal Society) and nothings happened. If we could add our own and then have them approved by the editor it would be something. As long as there were put into different catagory groups so we could find the one we want easier. How about a 42 similey?

i'd like to add smileys.. or if not.. it's fun to put the smiley-creator peoples through their paces, by regularly requesting incredibly difficult-to-visualize smileys .. like courageous, pensive, or righteous.

We're considering adding more smileys to the already huge collection, but it takes time, as we have about 4 million other things to do as well, and we have very few staff at the moment. We're working on it, though.

I applogize for what I said. I know people are busy. It didn't cross my mind. I have put forward a request in 'quite a list of smily suggestions' about some space smilies. If you want to add any of my smilies those would be the top of my list. Thanks.

There is no God smiley but we could have a Pentagle smiley and a cruifix smiley and maybe other religous symbols that would be nearly as good.

I don't think that would help me as I don't know what a "Pentagle" is anyway I have enough problem with the simple ones!

isn't a pentagle, an octopus' injured limb?
and a cruifix would be a stylish army hairdo ..
how _would_ one depict God in a smiley..? guess you could pull of the god's hand touching adam's hand smiley which could be symbolically representative of God.. (ie just the hands from michelangelo's creation of Adam)

try this. even the thought of a pictoral representation of God, or anything suchlike, the very thought, this very conversation, is already offending Islamic sentiment. There simply can be no such thing if the Guide is to continue to be "Global". I don't think you can afford to ignore the world's fastest growing religion.

A cruifix is a cross.
A pentagle is a pentagram (a five pointed star with a pentagen in the centre) with a cricle drawn round it.

guh .. well as far as islam is concerned, this wwwebsite, having so much un-filled open area is already rife with evil.. it's obvious the site would contain depictions of God.

I still think Yitz is right, a pentagle IS an octopus' injured limb, although it could be a SeptaGGle, and a cruifix is most definately a stylish army hairdo, although there again I heard it was a "shirt bacon sides". No, sorry, not absolutely sure what "Shirt-bacon" is but it could have something to do with the way khaki goes a dangerous dark colour under the arms? (finally we're getting to the crucifix of the matter and won't have to pentagle about it any more
