Blimey. People like you make flouncing off really tricky!
I really do think you hit the nail on the head with the 'What laws should Christians follow?' post. People can believe what they want top believe, but their beliefs shouldn't have any impact on others. There is a minority in the UK that would like to see sharia law here. Why should their moral code be any less valid that that of the christian?
Nadgers, you've dragged me back here (albeit as a psuedonym).
I really, really have had it with h2g2 for a while. I'd be honoured if you'd sign up for my forum. It bears a striking resemblance to my journal and, as such, I can understand why you might have better things to do!
Umty-um.

I came across that page at KNDO and thought, I must show that to Roy. And then I got here and saw you'd left. So I said, Blow that, then. I'll show it to him anyway!

Whatever made you think of me?! Bugger, I'm really crap at flouncing.
BTW: there's a Mark Steele lecture about religion from 1996 on the BBC radio player at the moment. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/mainframe.shtml?http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/index.shtml?button
I'm not sure if that link brings up the programme or just the radio player. If it's the latter the programme's about two thirds of the way down under 'Comedy & Quizzes'. 'Tis rather good.
Key: Complain about this post
