Brilliant week anyway. Festival, conference and drinking with old mates on a beach.

I had a nice day yesterday sitting in the sun in a beer garden near me, really good real ale it was too, not enough to get pissed, but just plesent... actually wish I was back there right now :: which reminds me; I think* the Cambridge beer festavil is coming up soon... if your ever* actually goign to make it over to Cambridge that might be an idea... oo oh yeh, you were here err was it last year at the strawberry fair; I think I wasn't here

I'll be in your area for the Strawberry Fair weekend (I know it's cancelled but we're going to damn well do it anyway!)

BTW, the pub across the road has reopened. Looks a bit poncey. Need to possie on in there and lower the tone...

Ooo about time I made it to London; As neither of us made the meet maybe a weekend just pissing it up at yours is in order some time soon; I'm sure we can arrange a lowering of the tone in the pub near you : I guess you never got your CD back from there then? (blimey we were reight wasted that weekend, which is strange as I can recall it all quite clearly... really I can.... ) Oo strawberry fair weekend, when is that then? I've never made it to the Cambridge beer festavil, but when I've a pub right near by that has more decent real ale than you could humanily drink in a weekend, plus several more weekends worth of bottled real ale, I can't quite muster up teh energy to walk all* the way to the beer festavil and then have to queue and pay to go in

Ooo Cambridge beer festavil, now I bother to look on the branch camra website, is this Monday until Saturday... though I seem to recall the one* time I did try to go, which were the saturday, we looked at the queue and instead went to the real ale pub near me... which was strangely nice and quiet as all the regulars I guess were in the queue for the beer festavil I really shouldn't have started on this guinness so early in the day today its just so hot though...

I started the day with a 2l bottle of Weston's Scrumpy. (7.5%)

The camping is in a field a fifteen minute drive from Cambridge. The festival was in Cambridge proper until the rozzers decided to be all Thatcher about it.
