Weather!!!

Absolutely NO mention was made of the delightful weather! During Summer and Spring days, as well as a good portion of Fall and Winter days, one can go outside and enjoy the day in the hot, dry air that the desert climate adds to this city. One can spend most of the year in sandals, shorts and t-shirts doing ones day to day business in some of the most delightful weather anywhere.
One must be careful not to do anything TOO strenuous, however, due to the fact that often it is necessary to chew your breath thoroughly before inhaling. And the weather in the San Fernando Valley, L.A.'s largest suburb, does often get into the hundreds or even low hundred and teens in the summer for at least a few days. But it's a DRY heat! REALLY!

An in-depth discussion of the weather was made in the Encyclopaedia Gallactica, so I chose not to amplify it. The weather, after all, is LA's most famous feature. I like to say Southern California has 3 seasons: Sunny, Windy, and Rainy. Windy should be coming along soon.

No, they didn't. You followed the link to the good version, that is, the unedited one. he approved entry is over here: http://www.h2g2.com/A219999 . It includes a list of such trite places as the Weisenthal Museum, and some dumb Gene Autry cowboy joint. I'd never even heard of that one. The whole list reeks of Encyclopedia Britannica.

OK, I was confused as to what you were talking about. I'll read the other one and compare.
