Is it just me or are only the really annoying eps filled with little brats set at the academy?

Academy brats are definitely high in annoyance potential.
If they really made this academy series, wonder how they'd work in the required aliens and warp jumps? Simulations gone haywire?

-->Some kid does something stupid trying to show off
-->some aliens get trapped/help solve problem
-->have to use warp to solve the problem

the academy'll always full of aliens. And the kids are all stupid.

Still no news about a new Star Trek series and it's been two years since the last film: Star Trek XI was out, and why so much secrecy.

There are rumours that J.J Abrahms who directed Star Trek XI is blocking a new Star Trek t.v series being made as they wanted a three years gap which would make 2012 before the new t.v series could get in production but there's no news on that and other rumours are saying it is due to the delay in the sequel to Star Trek XI which has not been titled and was due to be released in 2012 and that filming would start in the autumn of 2011. http://www.trektoday.com/content/tags/star-trek-xii/ and http://memory-alpha.org/wiki/Untitled_Star_Trek_sequel
