Got [fake] leather and [fake] suede curtains... The leather ones are too long... but I'm kicking myself that I didn't get the suede ones too long as well as I think they look better that way. When I say too long I mean that they have a 90 inch drop in a room where the cieling is only 89" from the floor.
Seen Batman Begins. I was worried I wouldn't like it. Given the clips I saw on Newsnight review and what the reviewers had to say... But this closer to the comic book version I think does rival the Tim Burton interpretations of Batman and Batman Returns that I love. What I like and I think Batman comic fans didn't so much about the first 3,[nobody likes the fourth Batman film]. Batman films was that the the bad guys were explored and played in such a way that they stole Batman's thunder to a certain extent. And that's the weak spot i felt in this new film, the bad guys aren't explored at all, I felt and the Scarecrow really is a character I wanted to see more of.
Liam Neeson as Ducard, did what he does best and that's bring gravitas to a role even if only has five minutes on screen, at least early in the film, later at the climax of the film one barely noticed that Neeson was there.

Curtains sound awsome!
So you liked the movie? Good! I really ought to get out more...
But tonight there is a race on the new dragstrip in the next town, will probably go to see our pal drive. His '55 chevy is a gem!

Dragstrip: is that a place built specially for people to race their cars, or a section of road unofficially designated by boy racers?

This strip is officially designated, with secuirty measures, 'christmas tree' for the startline, timers and timeboards...the lot! Just not the full 1/4 mile, sadly, only a half track. It really has helped stop the illegal and dangerous races on streets.
