anyone else out there believe in their protection powers? i'm fairly supersitious and as i'm going thru a bit of a rough patch i've gone out and bought 20 of the things in the guise of xmas tree lights! feel rather comforted to know that they're busy protecting my doorway!

yes, i've always been told the same. i often imagine i'm drawing one across myself, like catholics do with the cross, when i need protection. probably all a load of stuff and nonsence but if it makes you feel better, then great!

I pop up all over the place,
Ah never herd of drawing a star across yourself,
although i do admit i used to do the sign of the cross despite not being catholic...
whatever works best...

i've always done that for aslong as i can remember.
just a thought! have i put this message thread in the right place?! lol! i've just found some of the conversations and put another thread up in the relevant place, but not sure where i've put this! lol! tis my first official newbie thread though.

it might have made a better journal entery, but its fine where it is,
you can join in conversations anywhere by just posting to them,
normally personal experiances/interests are journals but its upto you really
