My first experience with this fellow was when he was called the "Jesus of Osborne". The "Osborne Village" is a section of the city of Winnipeg frequented by bohemian types (drifters, squeegee kids, liberatarians), and our friend, Mr. Jesus.
Apparently, he was a successful lawyer of some sort, who, after an intense period of disillusion with his life in general, abandoned everything he owned except for the clothes on his back, and never returned. He now wanders the Osborne-Corydon-Downtown areas of Winnipeg, occasionally mumbling to himself and scribbling in his notebook(s).
