It's always nice to recieve that when you join a new online community, but it is, unfortunately, quite a rarety.

That is one of the many things that I love about this site. It is very 'researcher' orientated, in that we have such a large input into what it is. The BBC staff are very approachable and happy to listen to suggestions for improvement to the site, and the <./>volunteer</.> schemes mean that everybody pitches in together to keep it going.

I hope you find it as addictive as I do, too much to look at and not enough time

I am usually online for a few hours everyday so anytime you have questions just fire away
