I saw a bit of the semi-final again this year, so I thought I'd start a thread to see who's planning to watch Eurovision on Saturday

I've got my and ready like last year, and I'm looking forward to it

I'll watch it, but I probably won't get online for the real-time critiques for which this site is famous.

I'd normally watch it and give a blow-by-blow account, but I'm going to my brother's Birthday Party and he won't want to watch it.

It'd be a shame if Hootoo didn't have a live thread. It was this site that got me watching Eurovision again and the whole experience was enhanced by the witty, fast (and bitchy) comments. Twitter is fast but too overwhelming and impersonal.

I don't think I've watched it since about 1975. I was in Madrid and watched it with a group including Spaniards, Germans, English, Scottish and possibly others. I can't remember exactly which year it was, nor can I remember who won.

Yes, I watched it in the mid-1990s, but then went off it until I saw the thread here, so it's my pleasure to start it off and I hope a few people are able to join in, although I'll certainly do my best to comment in the appropriate style

Yes. Very golden. Even the mic. Music, not so much. Drums in the verse part is very much 606. Was nice in 1982...
