h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

For those of you i have spoken to recently, you will have noticed a change.
Last wednesday, my d*ckhead of a shrink [Dr Stafford] decided it would be a good idea to take me off my meds, assureing me i'd be fine, she just wanted to see how id be.

Its been erm, *quickly counts* 6 days since then.
And...my mood hasnt moved away from -80 for more than an hour.

Oh but there has been a new development. I am turning into the biggest cow anyone could meet.
Im serious....

6 days...

you know, within one day i was back to the Steph i thought id left behind.
24 measly hours!

And what am i suppposed to do now? Call her and tell her i desperatly need to go back on my meds???

Im scared....

and not one of you understands.....

It isn't that the tabs you are using are addictive, it is that they are quickly discarded by the body compared to the older medications.

That is why you felt the slump so quickly..

Lil's right. Your system needs time to adjust to the new levels of everything in your blood stream. Thing's have settled down a bit and should hopefully settle down even more as your system compensates for the lack of meds.

I guess you are right. Im seeing Sharon today, so ill have a word...

She said that its only to be expected. But if i feel...you know i should call her right away..

Well it's great that she's there for you and will do whatever it takes to help you. Hopefully though, you won't need to make that call.
