Snow squalls from hell today!
The day was sunny with blue skies and then out of nowhere came dark clouds and then a blast of snow. But before you could say 'hey look, it's snowing' it was over and the sky was blue again...

Yeah, that was a *weird* day - the day of the 5 minute blizzard.

I went to college in Indiana, Pennsylvania (X-mas tree capital of the world and birthplace of Jimmy Stewart!).
And the weather up there is usually pretty horrible with snow and slush. One week it snowed *sideways* so that when you went outside, half of your body was plastered with snow and the other was untouched. Hardly any of that snow wound up on the ground - we figure whatever town was downwind must have been buried!
