You know it can be difficult to spend a whole day away from home without a thing to do...

My eldest had half a dozen friends over to our house for a 'spa party' for her birthday.

What that means is that they all wore pajamas and robes and gave each other facials, but cucumbers over their eyes and generally acted girly. What that also means is that a 'no boys allowed' rule was put in place for the duration of the party.

I guess I have a lot more of this to look forward to in the future eh?

Mine never did that sort of thing, but it looks like you can expect a lot of that sort of thing.

Guess it depends on what they're encouraged to do.

I think some of them are just *born* that way! I thought my daughter would turn out to be a feminist and a tomboy, but she's a real pink girly girl. However did *I* get one of those!

Maybe you should start up a darts team at your local bar Jimi - who knows, it might catch on!

Hey, I got her a golf club for her birthday and we play basketball together in the driveway. I blame the schools for making her all girly.

I did spend a few hours at the public library and picked up a fab biography of Teddy Roosevelt, but darts sounds like a good idea. I *had* planned to go to the driving range, but it was too cold.
