I have been toying with the concept of a non-subjective joke; that which has no object of ridicule or position where a statement that defines an image within the listeners mind is reversed/clarified/misinterpreted etc causing a brief moment of realisation and relief which leads to tittering, and can nearly safely say that I can't think of one.
However
If a joke, being defined within itself is objectified by the structural rules of the language it is told in, then surely a non-subjective joke needs to be told in a language that doesn't have any reference to the concept of object, wherein which subject is contained.
Therefore
I propose that if all object, thus subject, is removed from language, then a non-subjective joke is all that can be told.
P.S
Three Trappist monks sitting in a room.
After 19 years the bulb blows.
The first monk said, "The bulb's just blown".
The second monk said, "Ohhh, you just spoke".
The third monk said, "Lucky I didn't say anything".
