Every Friday night brings along with it nightmares and deep contemplations about the future and what it holds for me ! , This had been going on for a painfully long time without going anywhere , Every small project I took up would come out buggered !
Here is a nice little experiment which me and my friends have been upto from the past 3-4 months , Each one of us picks up a "Goal" , and starts working on it for the next couple of months , We encourage each other during these few days , help out with suggestions etc and if nothing works "start kicking butts" ! We update a blog regularly
At the end of the two-month period, each one of us gets evaluated by the remaining two ! And Man , isnt that an exercise in Sadism or what !
The point here is that the goals we chose should be things "which make our heart ache" but not necessarily those which are related to work !
In the first phase , I had taken up the "Only 2 cigarettes per day" resolution , My friends wanted to "Lose 5 kilograms of weight" and "Learn a little bit more about money" respectively , I lost out horribly in this , but my friends did quite well !
We just moved into the second phase of this project , and the evaluation is due shortly !
Ok , The point I was trying to make was

that , if you divide your 5-year plan into a series of "2 month goals" , It has a better chance of working !
