Ah. No-flab Gab, the only woman in California with an inverted chest. She was the sister from hell to Paula, who was Thickardo's previous fiance until Gob moved in on him. She accused Thick of raping her and there was a dramatic court case. But everyone forgave Gob for making it up after it turned out it was really her father who raped her. The all-new, goody Gobby was born. It looked as if she was going to get off with Mark for about three seconds, but then he was killed by Ben's evil twin Derek on Terror Island (Mark was last seen playing the gay boyfriend on the Impulse ad - terrible come down for his career after being an SB star). Then Gob shaved all her hair off, which drove Thick just wild with lust. And his little brother too.

Oh, I only spotted one. He's not looking too pretty is he? They seem to be chucking buckets of water over him between takes to simulate sweat as well. And it's about time he got a haircut. (If AJ can get a trim while supposedly babysitting Trey last week, then they clearly don't have any hangups about continuity). Are you playing the fantasy SB game on the C5 website?

I did have a look at the fantasy game on the ch5 site but the postings looked a bit tedious to go through plus when I looked there wasn't a cracking amount of imagination going into it. Has it improved recently?
I was involved with some of the chats there too - haven't visited for *ages*
And yeah to Ian Banks! I'm quite impressed with the amount of people who spot the name!

The postings are quite dull aren't they. Lots of teenyboppers who love spoilers. I'm quite enjoying the fantasy game though. SB is going through a bit of a dull patch so it offers a bit of extra interest. Counting up how many times Annie gets into a punch up etc.
Re Iain Banks, have you read The Business? I need to know if it's worth getting. I liked all his sci fi but I hated a couple of the "serious" novels (Song Of Stone and Canal Dreams).

you wont like it I expect - I finished reading it over the weekend. I liked it, but if you didn't like song of stone... I wouldn't bother buying it.
I'm gutted about SB getting canned though - *but* it'll make it even more cult I suspect..

Annie of course! Followed by Bette. And I'm quite fond of Brad and Amy too. I dislike most of the other characters for a variety of reasons, but still find them compulsively watchable. I hate Spawn and Benji the Devil Child the most. However, I'm really enjoying seeing Smeggles and Sara on the ropes for once. Those Cummings seem to have been born with more tear ducts than the rest of us, don't they?

Annie is obviously a top bird it's true! I have a soft spot for Olivia too but that's probably because her and annie are such a cool double act!
Most hated.. hmm, tricky... think it'll have to be Dumbo she really gets right up my nose.. or Gobi. I've missed it this week which is a bit tragic.. any interesting developments of plot I should know about?!

Well, I missed it last week because I was on holiday. And I set the vid wrongly so I got three hours of BBC Sport when I came to play it back (much yelling and kicking of vid machine ensued). However, I believe Ben's evil twin Derek is back from the dead.

Only on Sunset beach can a real curse actually happen, and people prematurely grow old, and people talk to their god and get an immediate, verbal answer. I can't believe they're getting rid of it! I love it 'cause I can still follow it even after I've missed it for 2 months through being at uni!
