just that certain events of late
are taking priority.

It still doesnt lessen how we feel and at least you have thought of us. Your family problems come first.

That's ok Prof, so long as you don't mind receiving one. Tried to do mine today. It was difficult as it brought back a lot of memories but I want to get them out early.
I am sure you are far too busy for such things and I quite understand.

Prof it costs an arm and egg just posting a letter, and it's double the price it was four years ago to post a letter/card abroad, last year it cost me 90p each to send a 
card to Australia, Canada and South Africa when four years ago it was 50p and it costs 46p to send an ordinary sized first class letter.
