Welcome, welcome, welcome, to the wonderful site of H2G2 (other wise known as hootoo - you will see this word a lot). I am an <./>ACE</.>, and I'm here to help you settle into your new home

I've created a little list of links, just for you, so click here <./>A1159210</.> and have a look at them (actually the links are my daughters...but hey!! Hootoo is one big family )

If you click on each link, they will take you to parts of hootoo no sane person should ever go alone on this site.....

......but as it seems no one here is sane, it doesn't matter does it!

Have a look around, pop into my personal space and read some conversations that I have on the go at the moment and you will see how things work. Don't be frightened to jump in on conversations, hootooers don't bite (well, some of them do, but I'll steer you well clear of those), just be aware of the thread you are reading and whether or not it is a private conversation between two people.

Remember, if you get lost, shout for help and hopefully I'll be around to give you a helping hand. In case I'm not around, just leave a message here <./>ACE</.> and someone will be with you just as soon as they can. I was wondering, sometimes I may wish to swear a bit, nothing to vulgar, but you know. Vent some steam on my keyboard. And, about making new conversations or topics or whatever, if it's completely useless and retarded, will anything bad come out of it. Thats about all. And thank's for all the (fish) help!

You can certainly rant if you want to!

As a family site, swearing isn't really encouraged, but certain others have managed to take the vowels out of t*w*ls .. or been p*$$ed with items of cr@p that life throws at them.

Sorry to keep bothering you, but might as well get it right now while I still can. My personal information, such as my email and name and adress ect. that I filled out to regrister, is there anyway I can change that?

Hiya...me again...

Right...at the top of the screen, above the green bar going across the page, there shoud be "retrieve my details" button. If you click on there, you can change things such as e-mail addresses and passwords etc, but no other personal information as far as I am aware.

If you can't do this, then e-mail h2g2.support AT bbc.co.uk (substitute AT for @ and it will work)...they will then be able to access your account and help you along your merry way!


If you have any further queries, just yell and either lil or me will come over and help you
