Is there one yet? There really should be. Your writings in the post are amazing. I've read them both and really, they are. You write well.

*stammers slightly flustered...ly *
Thank you... I'm deeply honoured Yay I finally have a fan club!!
I am really glad you enjoy the stories. I've tried writing so many times - finally I have found my muse! I hope you'll keep reading and spreading the good word

Of course.
*bows regally, not sure if that's the right word but dammit I'm gonna bow regally anyway*

Sorry, I think the word was humbly. Yes, that was it.
No fairy tale in the Post? Alas! What a great loss humanity (and h2g2) suffers!

As is always the case, real life made a rather rude appearance, although in a good way I just started a new job, and have been spending the previous few weeks trying to find it, and a new place...
I expect to be back in the swing of things shortly so hopefully I'll still have at least one loyal reader when I do
How are things going with you?

. But this is meant to be about you!

Hey, what's that with the hero you need? Are you looking for a Rambo type (muscles and sandals etc) or one of the musketeers?
(Not that I would be volunteering, as you'll probably wouldn't get much from a garlic-eater, I'm just being curious )

Hi, Bossel
*ducks to avoid the scythe *
Hmmmm very good question you've asked there. I suppose the more fantastic the hero, the more likely he would be to rescue me from this real life business. A tall, hulking, muscle-bound man with barely intelligible speech is not so hard to come by...
Dashing, daring, loyal men with a strong code of ethics on the other hand, now *there's* a fantasy, indeed.
At any rate, at this point, anyway who can swoop in and pluck me from the grasp of the mundane would be most welcome indeed
*turns to Roadkill*
When is your 11 week holiday over then?
(Is horribly inept at talking about herself much )

Eww, sorry! I thought I had left that tool over in PR
Guessing from what you write on your space+journal, I would assume that you've already *found* your hero? Ok, earning money is mundane but obviously there are different levels to that. Perks in my company can be told in a quite short list: there's free coffee & water, and I can buy stuff at 3% off the regular price - where the 'regular' price is 8% more than what the discounters charge

Wednesday. But then I'm in 6th form so that's probably a perk.
Missed out on The Post past two weeks. Must catch up. Did you write anything for either of them?

Or is there anything in the pipeline...?

Wow...
It's been a long time! Hope all is well with you!
I've actually just approached the Post about a short story I wrote a while ago so maybe I'll do something to deserve the fan club again

Right, I'm off to expose myself to low levels of disease, just to rejuvenate my immune system
Excellent ! I enjoyed it immensely. I've sent my submission off to the post office so... we shall see if I get to rejoin the ranks, however briefly!
The turbot periods were really highlights, no?

Yeah. The science is dodgy, but it only got good about half way through.

Why thank you I'm glad you're enjoying it - make sure to tune in next week (same bat time, blah blah blah) for the second half, where, in my opinion, it really gets good.

I like it a lot
I think I can see the shape of things to come.... but this is the frame of mind I have for all mysteries - guess something but then if you're wrong, vigorously deny it and say you were right all along, I just didn't want to reveal it so that someone would nick it.
Congratulations on your marriage by the way.
