To turn this into a proper Entry I will probably have to incorporate it with something else. i.e Catagories of Jokes or What Science and Maths does for society. Like I said before this is my first so all help welcome

I've always been partial to a brainy joke. Figured I'd add one of my own for your consideration. My son told me this one.
------
e^x is walking down the street one day, acting all tough and full of himself, when a swarm of numbers and equations rush by. He looks about in confusion. A polynomial stops in front of him.
"Man, you'd better get out of here! There's a derivational operation coming down the street! It's going to destroy us all!"
"Bah!" says the haughty exponetial, "He can't touch me. I'm e^x. Bring it on!"
e^x continues down the street, bristling, ready for anything. He finds the derivational operator and gets squarely in its face.
"Hi, there. I'm e^x," he says.
The derivational operator looks at him and says, "Hi, I'm d/dy."

Not exactly a joke, but more of observation.
While I was doing my maths degree, one of the mature students on the course said that he felt that: "Marriage less of a union and more more of an intersection".
We all thought it was a bit sad at the time. But they had their first child just after the end of the course, and I'm sure that will have helped.
